Observations and Inspections related to landslide-affected areas and community issues by Minister Samantha Viddyarathna

 On November 29, Minister of Plantations and Community Infrastructure, Badulla District Member of Parliament Samantha Viddyarathna participated in several key inspections and observations related to landslide-affected areas and community issues.

1. Passara-Bibila Main Road Landslide (Near Post 13)
   The Minister joined an observation of the Passara-Bibila main road, which had been affected by a landslide. Officials present at the occasion included Member of Parliament Dinidu Hennayake, the Passara Divisional Secretary, the District Disaster Relief Service Officer, and the Provincial Road Engineer.

2. Passara-Akiriya Road Landslide (Matigahatenna Area)
   An inspection was conducted of the Passara-Akiriya road in the Matigahatenna area, which was also hit by landslides. Officials accompanying the Minister included Member of Parliament Dinidu Hennayake, the Lunugala Divisional Secretary, the District Disaster Relief Service Officer, and the Provincial Road Engineer.

3. Housing Observations in Kuruvigolla Estates, Lunugala
   The Minister observed several houses in the Kuruvigolla estates within the Lunugala Divisional Secretariat. The Lunugala Divisional Secretary, the District Disaster Relief Service Officer, and Member of Parliament Dinidu Hennayake were also part of this visit.
