A Land Rover Discovery suddenly caught fire at 9:45 a.m. yesterday (22) in front of Thalangama Lankasabha College on the Borella-Kaduwela road. The fire was extinguished by the Kotte Municipal Fire Department.
In a separate incident, the driver and assistant of a vehicle were injured in an accident yesterday afternoon (22) in the Hungama area on the Matara-Tissa main road. They were transferred to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
