DIMO powers rural electrification project in Uganda
The Commissioning Ceremony of the rural electrification project in Sheema municipality in Uganda was held recently with the participation of Hon. Dr. Ruth Nankabirwa, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Development in Uganda. Mr. Shahane Gunasekara and Mr. Roshan Senevirathne represented DIMO at the event.

DIMO is proud to join hands with the government of Uganda as the main contractor of this project and provide our expertise in the power & energy sector to uplift the infrastructure in the rural areas of Uganda.
The project included 137km of Medium Voltage lines and 222km of Low Voltage lines, including 96 distribution substations. A team of highly skilled and experienced engineers was engaged in the project, making sure the project deliverables are met as planned and highest customer satisfaction is guaranteed throughout the project.
Post the successful completion of this project, DIMO looks forward to undertaking power & energy projects in the other areas of Uganda as well as in other parts of the world including the Maldives, Middle East, Kenya and Tanzania.
