The New DiTEC Water Pump Assembly Plant was ceremonially opened on the 28/04/2022 By Mr Gahanath Pandithage. Mr. Vijitha Bandara, Mr. Mahesh Karunaratne, Mr. Dinuk Peiris, Mr. Belindra Weerasinghe, Mr. Kumar Rodrigo and the DIMO Retail Team Participated at this opening Ceremony.
The DiTEC Water Assembly Plant is location in the DIMO Logistic Centre and the speciality of this project is that 80% of the DITEC Pumps that are being sold are being assembled in house.

There are 8 types of pumps being introduced, the category covers farming, domestic and submersible pump range. The products are being marketed with DiTEC brand.
DiTEC now has categories ranging from Power tools, Air compressors, Brush cutters, Welding transformers, Welding electrodes, High Pressure washers, Power sprayers & Water pumps.
