VACANCIES
Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB), which is part of Sri Lanka tourism under the Ministry of Economic Development, is a statutory body entrusted to develop Meetings, Incentive navel, Conferences and Exhibitions, commonly called MICE Tourism. SLCB is calling for applications from suitable candidates for the following positions.
- Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- A sound educational background with a Degree from a recognized University in Marketing / Project Management / Tourism Management. A Postgraduate Diploma in Chartered Institute of Marketing will be an added advantage.
- Three years post qualifying experience in handling Marketing in Government Departments / Corporations / Boards or in reputed Mercantile Establishment.
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication skills
- An excellent command of the English Language
- Ability to use common computer operating systems and packages and as relevant and required by the job description
Age : Below 45 years as at closing date of applications.
Salary Scale : Rs. 25,605 + 645x10 + 925x15 - 45,930/- (MM 1-2)
(Government approved other allowances will be paid in addition to the above salary).
2. POST OF OFFICE ASSISTANT
- Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- Passed G.C.E. (OIL) 6 subjects
- Pleasing personality
- Should be disciplined and self-motivated Age : Below 45 years as at closing date of applications.
Salary Scale : Rs. 11,930 - 10x120 + 10x130 + 7x145 + 15x160 - 17,845 (PL I)
(Government approved other allowances will be paid in addition to the above salary).
