Vacancies
Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka for the following posts in Southern Provincial Road Development Authority.
1. Technical Officers - (Civil/Mechanical) - Grade VII - Vacancies - Civil - 05 Mechanical - 01
Educational & Other Qualifications :
1.1 National Diploma in Technology from the University of Moratuwa or Hardy Institute Ampara.
OR
1.2 National Diploma in Engineering Science from the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority
OR
1.3 Higher National Diploma in Engineering from the Advanced Technological Institute in Se Lanka
OR
1.4 The Diploma in Technology from the Open University of Sri Lanka
OR
1.5 Passed Part I Examination of the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL).
OR
1.6 National Certificate it Technology from Technical College with 05 years experience in the relevant field after obtaining the certificate.
Salary Scale : According to the Management Services Circulars 30(1) Salary Code - MA 2-2
14900 - 145 x 08 - 170 x 7 - 290 x 4 - 345 x 20 - 25310/=
In addition, the following additional allowances are entitled to
1. Government approved cost of living allowance and 20% special allowance
2. Special allowance of Rs. 2500/-
Method of Recruitment :- (a) For 2.1 to 2.5 from - By an Interview
(b) For 2.6 written examination by Southern Provincial Road Development Authority & Interview will be held for those who have passed the examination.
Common Conditions :-
1. Age between 18 and 45 Years at the closing date of the application (Maximum age limit will not be applicable for those who are working in permanent post in Pubic Service / Provincial Public Service, and State Corporations and Statutory Boards).
2. These posts are permanent and with is subjected to three years probation period.
3. Those who are appointed for the above posts are liable to Employees Provident Fund and Employees Trust Fund.
4. Special Preference will be given b those who are residing in Southern Province.
