Suitable candidates are invited for a walk-in interview for the following posts at the Eastern University, Sri Lanka, Vantharumoolai, Chenkalady and Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka.

Qualifications
1) A pass in General / Special degree in English medium.
OR
2) A pass in General / Special degree with English language as a subject
OR
3) A Specialist English trained teacher? certificate with at least 03 years experience after training.
AND
A very good command of Sinhala / Tamil and English
Honorarium: Rs.21,370/- p.m. (Fixed) [U-AS I(III)]
Note: Retired English Teachers will also be considered.

Qualifications

Note: Required qualifications for Temporary Assistant Lecturer in English :
A pass in General / Special Degree with English Language as a subject or any other Degree with English Language as a subject and / or Postgraduate Degree in the relevant field.
Salary Scale
Temporary Assistant Lecturer (Non-Medical) - Rs. 26,020/-p.m. (Fixed)
Note: (Allowances will also be paid as determined by the University Grants Commission)
