Applications for filling the under mentioned Vacancies am being called from the citizens of Sri Lanka who am eligible to apply.
1 Civil Engineers (Grade-4) -03 Vacancies
Minimum Qualifications and service requirements -
(a) Civil Engineering qualifications such as the B.Sc. Engineering (Civil) Degree from a recognized University in Sri Lanka or similar qualifications acceptable to the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (TESL)
Or
(b) Shall have passed the Parts I & II of the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka or same of the Civil Engineers Institute of United Kingdom.
Or
(c) B. 'Tech Engineering Degree of the Open University of Sri Lanka
Salary Scale : Rs. 20,490.00- 15x325.00- 25,365.00 and you will be placed on the initial salary step at the recruitment in addition the Rs. 15,000/ - of Engineers allowance Rs. 7800/ - , cost of living allowance special allowance which is 20% of the initial salary and Rs. 2650.00 being the allowance of the Provincial Road Development Authority will be paid along with traveling expenses and holiday payments.
2 Technical Officer (Grade-3 - Civil) -06 Vacancies
Minimum Qualifications and service requirements -
(a) Getting through of the examination being held by the Examination Department relevant to the National Certificate on Technology (Civil)
Salary Scale : Rs. 14,610.00 - 18x145 - 17,220.00 and will be placed on the initial step at the recruitment. In addition cost of living allowance Rs. 7800/ - , Special allowance 20% of the basic salary and Rs. 1700/ being the Provincial Road Development Authority allowance along with travelling expenses and holiday payments will be paid.
3 Draughtsman (Grade-3) - 01 Vacancy
Minimum Qualifications and service requirements -
(a) Holding the apprentice Draughtsman certificate of the Thchnical College / Sri Lanka Technical College along with two years post qualification experience at a recognized institute as a Draughtsman
Or
(b) Two years post qualification experience at a recognized institute along with acceptable recognized similar qualifications
Or
(c) Possessing the Four (04) years national diploma in Engineering at National Apprenticeship and Technical Training Institute.
Salary Scale : Rs. 14,610.03 - 18x145 - 17,220.00 and will be placed on the initial step at the recruitment. In addition cost of living allowance Rs. 7800/ - , Special allowance 20% of the basic salary and Rs. 1700/ - being the Provincial Road Development Authority allowance along with travelling expenses and holiday payments will be paid.
For all above mentioned posts the age limit is under 45 years at the closing date of the applications. Applicants attached to Government Service, Corporations or Statutory Boards are exempted from the age limit and their applications shall be submitted through the heads of Departments.
From the basic Salary of the selected applicant and the employer will contribute 8% and 12% respectively to the Employees' Provident Fund and also the employers will contribute 3% of the employee's basic salary to the Employees' 'Trust Fund.
The applications including the bio-data particulars prepared by the applicant giving two names and addresses of non-related referees known to the applicant shall be sent under Registered Cover with copies of certificates attached to it on or before 01/04/2014 to reach the General Manager, Provincial Road Development Authority, H.B. Semasinghe Mawatha, Anuradhapura. The name of the post applying for shall appear on the top left hand corner of the envelope. Applicants will be recruited on the basis of priority in securing marks at the interview. The subject scope of the interview will be intimated in the calling letter.
The General Manager of the Provincial Road Development Authority has the right to take a final decision in filling all vacancies or part of it or not filling same.
