The Postgraduate Institute of Medicine. University of Colombo will entertain Applications front suitably qualified persons for the following post up to 27.12.2013.
Stenographer (English) Grade II
Salary and other conditions of Appointment:
Rs. 16,070 • 17x155 • 18,705 p.m. (U - MN 1
(IIIA)) and other government approved
allowances.
Qualifications:
I. G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination in six
subjects at not more than two sittings with credit passes in three subjects
including English.
2. Proficiency in English stenography with the following
minimum speeds:
Shorthand - 80 w.p.m.
Typing - 55
w.p.m.
(Speed
test on computers)
Age Not more than 45 years
(This age limit will not apply to employees of the
University System,
employees of Government Departments / Corporations / Statutory Boards).
Selection by test and interview.
