Recruitment to posts of Non-Technical segment of Grade Ill of the Primary grade in the Colombo Municipal Council of the Provincial Public Service of the Western Province
Applications are accepted by me till 23.122013 from persons who are residents of the Western Province and who hold following qualifications for vacant posts of Non - Technical segment of Grade III of the Primary grade, existing in the Colombo Municipal Council of the Provincial Public Service of the Western Province.
Duly perfected applications prepared by using both sides of the A 4 size paper, according to the specimen application published along with the notice for posts of non - Technical segment of grade Ill of the Primary grade, either by typing or written in clear letters, should be forwarded under registered cover to reach the Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner's Office, Colombo Municipal Council, Town Hall, Colombo 07, before 1100 noon on 23.12.2013. Words "Application for the Non-Technical segment, of grade III of the Primary grade of the Western Province of Provincial Public Service" should be clearly written on the top left corner of the envelope containing the application. Applications received late will be rejected. Further details required in this regard could be obtained by inquiries made from the Municipal Secretary.
I. Name of the Post :- Non-Technical, Grade III of the Primary grade.
2. Monthly Salary Scale :- P.A. Circular No. 06/2006 (IV) PL - 01 2006 A
Rs. 11730 - 10 x 120 - 10 x 130- 10 x 145- 12 x 160 - 17600/ — Commencing monthly salary Rs 11,730/
E.B. Examination before reaching the 4th salary step of Rs. 12090
3. I. The above post is permanent and pensionable
II. Contribution should be made to Widow / Widower 82. 0.P. fund.
III. Posts are subject to a 03 years probationary period.
4. General qualifications :-
I. Applicant should be a Sri Lankan
IL Applicant should be of sound health
III. Applicant should be a permanent resident within the Western Province, during
03 immediate years prior to the date of accepting the application.
5. Educational qualifications:- Should have passed Grade S or year 9 in school
6. Age limit:‑
Age should be between 18 years and 45 years on the date of calling application.
7. All required qualifications should be fulfilled as at the date of accepting application.
8. Service condition relevant to the post
I. Duty hours of the above post is 08 hours and 45 minutes per day
II. Duties have to be performed during day and night according to service requirement
III. Should attire in full uniform entitled to the post, whilst on duty.
9. Mode of recruitment:- suitable applicants are selected through a structured interview as per the Provisions of P.A. Circular No. 24195
10. The appointing Authority reserves the right to take final decision regarding to the above posts.
