COMMUNITY HEALTH PROMOTION SERVICE - ANURADHAPURA DISTRICT
RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF
COMMUNITY HEALTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Applications are invited from individuals who have fulfilled
the following qualifications for recruitment for nine (09) vacancies that exist
for the post of "Community Health Development Officer" under the
Community Health Promotion Service implemented by the Ministry of Indigenous
Medicine in the Anuradhapura District.
Duty authority area attached to this position will be Anuradhapura district and this position carries field duty assignments.
Qualifications:
01. Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 30
years as at 26.12.2013 (maximum age limit will not apply to applicants
presently in public or provincial public service holding permanent positions)
02. Educational and other qualifications :
i) Should have passed the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination
with 06 subjects in one sitting with credit passes in Sinhala / Tamil / English
language, Mathematics and two other subjects.
and
ii) Should have passed at least one (01) subject at the
G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination (except in General Common Test and General
English).
03. Professional and other qualifications:
Should have at least two (02) years experience in Community
Health Promotion affairs (in public service or Government recognized voluntary
organization)
04. Salary segment and scale: Rs. 13120 - 10x145 - 11x170 -
10x240 - 10x320 - 22040.
05. Service condition: This post is permanent and
pensionable.
06. Method of application:-
Self prepared applications as per the specimen given below
on both sides of A4 size paper should be duly perfected and should be sent by
registered post addressed to "Secretary, Ministry of Indigenous Medicine,
No. 325, Dr N.M. Perera Mawatha, Colombo 08" to receive on or before
26.12.2013. The caption "Recruitment for the post of Community Health
Development Officer" should be mentioned on the left hand top corner of
the envelope containing the application. Late applications will be rejected and
the Ministry will not be responsible for any delay in post. Applicants
presently in permanent public service should direct their application through
the heads of their departments.
Decision of the Secretary of the Ministry of Indigenous
Medicine will be final regarding this recruitment.
