II

A
Special Degree of four years duration with a first class or second class
upper in Physics from a recognized University with appropriate subject
combinations.
OR
A
Special Degree of four years duration with a first class or second class
lower in Physics from a recognized University with appropriate subject
combination and Postgraduate Degree in Nuclear Science or as related to
the first Degree.
Preference
will be given to candidates who have knowledge of Computer Literacy. Should
be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.

of Technical Assistant - Grade III

Job Description : I. Non-Destructive and related testing
services in laboratory and field or
2. PLC
control automated motor driven machinery operation and maintenance or
3. Field water sampling, laboratory water analysis and instrument
maintenance Qualifications :
G.C.E. (0/L) in six subjects in one sitting
with four credit passes including Science. Mathematics and language (Sinhala / English / Tamil).
AND
G.C.E. (A/L) in Science with 03 passes (other than the General
Paper) in one sitting
AND
Having completed a two year Diploma or
Certificate Course in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Chemical (General) Engineering not below the *N.V.Q.
Level 5 conducted by a recognized
Institution of Technological taming.
(*i.e. National Diploma in Technology,
University of Moratuwa / N.D.E.S., Institute of Engineering Technology / H.N.D.E.S.L. Technical College or
equivalent qualifications).
Experience: One year experience in a
research & development, organization on experimental work.
Age
: Should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.

Salary Scale
: Rs. 14610/= 145/ = x10, 170/ = x7,
290/ = x4, 345/ = x20 = 25,3101= (Monthly).
(In addition to the above salary Government approved
allowances also will be paid).
Method of Recruitment :
By a written competitive Examination and a structured
interview. Subjects for the Examination Language Proficiency, Aptitude test and subject knowledge
relevant to the post.
Nature of Appointment :
Permanent with entitlement of Employees'
Provident Fund and Employees' test Fund.
