Post and Grade - Tea Inspector! Extension Officer Management Assistant -Technical (MA 2-2-III)
Age Limit - Age should be between 18 and 35 years.
Salary Scale - (MA-2-2-2006A) Rs. 14.6101= - 145x10 - 170x7 - 290x4 - 145x20 - Rs. 25,3101= (monthly) In addition, government approved allowances would be paid.
Qualifications - I. Two year Diploma Certificate on Agriculture obtained from a government or any other Institute recognized by the Government.
Or
Two year Diploma certificate on Plantation Management conducted by the National Institute of Plantation Management.
With
II. Passing all subjects in the Science Stream at General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (including Common General Test).
III.Passing six subjects with credit passes for four subjects including Sinhala or Tamil, English and Mathematics at General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level).
Method of Recruitment - Selection would be by a competitive examination and a structured interview.
Other - Provisions of Institutional Procedure Code will be applicable regarding recruitment.

During the total period of service under the Tea Small Holdings Development Authority the appointed candidate is entitled to contribute an amount not less than 10% from his total monthly salary and the authority is to contribute an amount not less than 15% as membership fees to the Employees Provident Fund established under Employees Provident Fund Act No. 15 of 1958 or to another Employees' Provident Fund operated under the said act.
Apart from that the Authority pays an amount of 3% to the Employees Trust Fund. Candidates are expected to submit their completed applications along with Certificates of Birth, certificates of Education and certificate copies of experience to the following address by registered post. Relevant post should be written on the top left-hand corner of the envelope containing the applications. Candidates engaged in service in government / government Corporations / Statutory Boards should submit their applications through their head of the Institution.
