Qualifications
I. Passed G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six
subjects at one sitting with credit passes for
four (04) subjects including Sinhala or Tamil
Language, English Language and
Mathematics
subjects at one sitting with credit passes for
four (04) subjects including Sinhala or Tamil
Language, English Language and
Mathematics
and
II. Passed three subjects (excluding common
general test) under Biology or Agricultural
Science subject streams at the G.C.E. (A/L)
examination

III. Successful completion of a certificate
course on field work relevant to nursery
management or plantation practices either

Age Limit
Age should be between 18 and 35 years. (This age limit
does not apply to employees in government / Corporation sector)
Method of Recruitment
Selection will be made through an open competitive examination and an interview.

During the total period of service under the Tea Small Holdings Development Authority the appointed candidate is entitled to contribute an amount not less than 10% from his total monthly salary and the authority is to contribute an amount not less than 15% as membership fees to the Employees Provident Fund established under Employees Provident Fund Act No15 of 1958 or to another Employees Provident Fund operated under the said act.
Apart from that the Authority pays an amount of 3% to the Employees* Trust Fund.
