VACANCIES
State Pharmaceuticals Corporation is the sole importer of
pharmaceuticals for the government hospitals and the leading importer and
distributor of pharmaceuticals for the private sector in Sri Lanka.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following
vacancies.
1. MANAGER ADMINISTRATION - (MM -1.1), GRADE II
(a) (i)
Bachelor's or BSc Special Degree in Management of a University recognized by
the
University Grants Commission
Or
(ii) Any other equivalent Degree of a University /
Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission And
(b) Computer
Literacy
And
(c) Minimum of
03 years post qualifying experience relevant to the field of Human Resources /
Administration of a Public / Corporation / Board / Statutory Body/ Reputed
Mercantile Establishment
Salary Scale: Rs. 25,640/-, 03 x Rs. 665/-, 07 x Rs. 735/-,

2. PRODUCTION SUPERINTENDENT - (JM -1.1), GRADE II
Qualifications:
(a) BSc General
Degree including the subject of Chemistry / BSc special Degree in Chemistry or
equivalent qualifications of a University recognized by the University Grants
Commission
And
(b) Computer
Literacy
And
(c) Minimum of
one year post qualifying experience in the field of Production of
Pharmaceuticals of a
Public / Corporation / Board / Statutory Body / Reputed Mercantile
Establishment
Note: Background in Analytical Chemistry will be considered
as an added qualification.

3. AUDIT OFFICER - (JM -1.1), GRADE II
Qualifications:
1.1 Degree
Holders
(a) BSc Special
Degree in Commerce / Accountancy / Business Administration or equivalent
qualifications of a University recognized by the University Grants Commission

(b) Computer
Literacy
And
(c) Minimum of
03 years post qualifying experience in the field of Auditing / Accounting of a
Public /
Corporation / Board / Statutory Body / Reputed Mercantile Establishment
Or
1.2 Vocational /
Professional
(a) (i)
Intermediate Level of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) /
Chartered Institute
of Management Accountants (CIMA) / Association of Certified
and Corporate Accountants (ACCA), or equivalent qualifications of an
Institution recognized by a Professional Body Or
(ii) AAT full
qualifications

(iii) Higher
National Diploma in Accountancy of a Government Technical College

including Sinhala / Tamil, English, Mathematics and 01 other subject
at the GCE (O/L) Examination, within not more than two sittings
And
(b) (i) Passes in
at least 02 subject (other than the (General Paper) at the GCE (A/L)
Examination
(New Syllabus) Or
(ii) Passes in 03 subjects at the GCE (A/L) Examination (Old
Syllabus) And
(c) Certificate
in Customs House Clearance Agent issued by the Department of Customs
And
(d) Computer
Literacy
Salary Scale: Rs. 13,450/-, 10 x 145/-, 07 x 170/-, 04 x

6. BOOK KEEPER (M.A - 2.1), GRADE III
Qualifications:
1.1 Educational
(a) Passes in 06
subjects with 04 credits including Sinhala / Tamil, English, Mathematics and 01

subject at the GCE (O/L) Examination, within not more than two sittings
And
(b) (i) Passes in
at least 02 subject (other than the General Paper) at the GCE (A/L) Examination

1.2 Vocational
(a) (i) Internal
Examination of Institute of Administrative accountants, not below the N. V.Q.
Level 5

(iii) Passes at
the Final Examination of AAT
Or
(iv) Any other
equivalent certificate course not below the N.V.Q. Level 5 relevant to the field

7. PRODUCTION INFORMATION REPRESENTATIVE (PIR), (MA
-1.1),GRADE III
Qualifications:
(a) Passes in 06 subjects with 04 credits
including Sinhala / Tamil, English, Mathematics / Commercial
Arithmetic and 01 other subject at the GCE (O/L) Examination, within not more
than two sittings
And
(b) (i) Passes in
at least 02 subjects with 02 credits including Chemistry (other than the
General Paper)
at the GCE (A/L) Examination (New Syllabus) Or
(ii) Passes in at least 03 subjects including Chemistry at
the GCE (A/L) Examination (Old Syllabus) And
(c) Good command
in English Language (Spoken)
And
(d) Computer

(e) Posses a
valid Driving License issued by the Commissioner of Motor Traffic
Salary Scale: Rs. 13,450/-, 10 x 145/-, 07 x 170/-, 04 x 240/-, 20 x 320/-, Rs.
23,450/-
Age limit:
Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
